Skill Development & Vocational Training

Skill Development & Vocational Training

At CDA Foundation Trust, we believe that education opens doors, but skills build futures. Many young people and women in Jharkhand face unemployment, poverty, and lack of livelihood opportunities. Through our Skill Development & Vocational Training Program, we empower individuals with practical knowledge, hands-on training, and income-generating skills so they can become self-reliant and confident contributors to society.

🎯 Our Objectives

  • To provide market-relevant vocational training for youth and women.

  • To reduce unemployment by creating self-employment and job placement opportunities.

  • To encourage women’s economic independence through skill-based programs.

  • To promote entrepreneurship and small-scale enterprises in rural areas.

  • To integrate digital and modern skills for future-ready livelihoods.

🏫 Key Initiatives

1. Tailoring & Handicrafts Training

We provide training in tailoring, embroidery, and handicrafts to help women start their own small businesses or join cooperatives.

2. Computer & Digital Literacy

Our centers teach basic computer education, office tools, and digital literacy so rural youth can find better employment opportunities.

3. Livelihood Support Programs

We train communities in poultry farming, dairy management, agriculture-based enterprises, and small entrepreneurship, enabling sustainable income sources.

4. Employment Linkages

We connect skilled trainees with local industries, small businesses, and organizations, helping them secure employment or start their own ventures.

5. Financial Literacy Workshops

We organize workshops to teach participants about budgeting, savings, banking, and micro-credit linkages, ensuring long-term financial security.
