Women Empowerment

At CDA Foundation Trust, we believe that when a woman is empowered, an entire family and community are uplifted. In rural Jharkhand, women often face economic dependency, lack of opportunities, and social barriers that prevent them from realizing their potential. Our Women Empowerment Program is designed to provide skills, resources, and confidence so that women can live with dignity, independence, and respect.

🎯 Our Objectives

  • To provide vocational training that enables women to earn and support their families.

  • To encourage economic independence through small businesses, SHGs, and micro-credit linkages.

  • To promote awareness on health, nutrition, and rights among rural women.

  • To create leadership opportunities for women in community development.

  • To support widows, single mothers, and vulnerable women with financial literacy and livelihood skills.

🏫 Key Initiatives

1. Vocational Training

We train women in tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts, food processing, and other skills that can generate sustainable income.

2. Self-Help Groups (SHGs)

We encourage women to form SHGs to save collectively, access credit, and start small businesses together.

3. Entrepreneurship Development

Through micro-enterprises and start-up support, we help women establish their own ventures in rural markets.

4. Financial Literacy

Workshops on banking, savings, and budgeting help women manage income and build financial security.

5. Health & Rights Awareness

We conduct sessions on maternal health, nutrition, hygiene, and women’s rights, enabling them to make informed decisions.

🌟 Impact So Far
